Paul Russell | BDes Hons
Paul graduated Massey University Wellington with a Bachelor of design (Hons), majoring in Industrial Design. He began his career as a fitter and turner, winning NZ fitter and turner of the year and came 8th in the world championships in Léon, France. Working at Fisher & Paykel NZ as a model maker and engineer, gaining extensive knowledge into the business of product design.
With a passion for design and an entrepreneurial drive, Paul launched GDP, to share his knowledge of design and production with clients. His ethos for GDP is creating cutting edge design that compliments the manufacturing process, to bring client’s ideas to life as a commercialized product.
Tayla Canter – Retail Operations Manager
Tayla is our Retail Operations manager, for our in house brands Reform and Vectral. She is tasked with overseeing both brands to ensure high quality products and performance. Tayla works closely with the GDP Retail team, to build and deliver brands that we are proud of. Tayla has a background in the Finance sector, she is a Matakana local who you will usually find at the beach or outside in nature in her free time.
Christie Peacocke | DipCDD
Born in the Waikato and now calling Matakana home, Christie has a passion for art, design and business and enjoys the outdoors, art and culture. While attaining her two diplomas in Creative Digital Design at Yoobee School of Design in Auckland, she began designing with us. Christie has a passion for the business of branding and is our in house graphic designer while contributing to the development of our in house sustainable home ware business, Reform.
